The Circuit Court for the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit, Kane County, Illinois recently certified a nationwide class action consisting of Heritage-Crystal Clean’s (“Crystal Clean”) customers who were charged and paid a “fuel surcharge” fee. Methvin Terrell brought the nationwide class action against Heritage-Crystal Clean requesting that the Court certify three separate classes for Crystal Clean’s violation of the Illinois Consumer Fraud Act (“ICFA”), breach of contract, and for unjust enrichment.
