Bio
Rodney primarily represents families in wrongful death actions and individuals suffering from life-altering catastrophic injuries as a result of another’s carelessness. He has also successfully litigated numerous class actions, business disputes, and consumer fraud cases across the country. Rodney has handled jury trials in many different areas, ranging from wrongful death to securities fraud, and participated in over 30 arbitrations. Rodney obtained a $3 million verdict in a jury trial involving a client who was injured after being struck by an electric pallet jack.
Since 2021, Rodney has been selected as a Super Lawyer® for General Litigation, which recognizes no more than 5% of attorneys in the state. Since 2019, Rodney has been recognized by Best Lawyers® for his work in Commercial Litigation, Litigation – Insurance, Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions – Plaintiffs, and Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs.
When not working, Rodney enjoys spending time with his wife, four children (two sets of twins), and two dogs. With any free time beyond that, Rodney enjoys going for a run outside and reading a good fiction book.
Rodney also serves as an advocate for those trying to grow their family and helped launch Carrywell, a non-profit that provides a variety of resources for couples experiencing infertility.
Rodney is a graduate of Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and Auburn University at Montgomery. After graduating from Cumberland, Rodney began his legal career at Methvin Terrell, P.C. He is admitted to practice law in Alabama, West Virginia, Georgia, and Tennessee.
