Bio
Bob served as the 145th President of the Alabama State Bar.
Bob is the managing shareholder of Methvin, Terrell, Yancey, Stephens & Miller, P.C. He practices in the areas of Class Actions and Complex Litigation, Business Litigation, and Insurance and Annuity Litigation. Bob graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. degree in Finance in 1991 where he was a member of Jasons Senior Men’s Honorary. He received his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1994. While at Cumberland, he served as a member of the Trial Advocacy Board. Bob frequently lectures on business litigation and class action litigation and is a registered mediator with the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution. Bob also serves as consulting counsel and litigation counsel to a number of Alabama businesses.
Bob serves as a mediator in a wide variety of cases and serves as an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). He has an AV Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. He has consistently been voted by his peers as one of the Top 50 Lawyers in Alabama by Super Lawyers and Business Alabama magazine and has also been recognized in Best Lawyers® for his work in commercial litigation, insurance litigation, mass torts and class actions.
