Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Lens.com

The popular eyewear and contact company, Lens.com, faced a class action lawsuit due to allegedly misrepresenting their online prices to consumers. Lens.com sells a variety of contact lenses from well-known companies at competing prices.

In October 2022, a New Jersey man- the plaintiff- prepared to place an order for two boxes of contacts only to find that he was overcharged by $71.43 with no indication of what the charges were for. In the 12-page lawsuit, it is alleged that Lens.com attracts customers by promoting cost-effective contact lens prices then inflates the price when they proceed to checkout.
